He was born August 16, 1970 in Provo Utah to Robert P. and Diane Young. He married Deborah Barton in Highland Utah on June 9, 1990.
Darren was raised mainly in Utah County and graduated from Tuba City High School Arizona in 1989. He enjoyed going shooting, boating and trips to Lake Powell with his family. He was blessed with a gift to fix anything with his hands and was always ready for the next project.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years: Deborah; children - Kyle, Kelly, Nichole, Amanda and Tyler; parents Robert Patrick and Diane Young; brothers; Curtis, Ryan, Robert, Greg, Matt; sisters; Tiffany and Heather, and multiple nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by a brother David.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday July 25, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Winchester Hills 1st Ward Chapel, 5338 N. Winchester Dr. South, St. George. Visitations will be Wednesday July 25, 2012 from 9:00 to 10:30 am prior to services at the chapel.
Interment will be in the Tonaquint Cemetery, under the direction of Pine View Mortuary, 435 - 986 - 4222.
