He was born July 5, 1921, in Foreman, Ark., and came to Bradenton in 1992 from Naperville, Ill. He retired as an engineering executive at Bell Telephone Laboratories.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean war, graduating from the Navy Academy, Annapolis, Md., in 1946. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Nan Moss of Watertown, Wis.; a son, Kent of Norfolk, Neb.; sisters Peggy Graham of Largo and Wanda Raymond of Richardson, Texas; brothers Milton of Port Charlotte and Robert of Westerville, Ohio; and six grandchildren.
No visitation is planned. A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hope Lutheran Church. Inurnment will be in Norfolk. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Cortez Road Chapel, is in charge. Memorial donations may be made to Hope Lutheran Church, 4635 26th St. W., Bradenton, FL 34205.
