Ophelia Click, 99, of Lubbock, formerly of Big Spring, died Monday March 4, 2013 at Garrison Care Center in Lubbock.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Trinity Memorial Park with Minister Greg Surles of Birdwell Lane Church of Christ, officiating.
She was born November 17, 1913 in Roby, Texas to Sadie and Arthur Bell and was the oldest of three girls.
She married Lloyd Click December 27, 1930.
She worked for Montgomery Ward, Malone & Hogan Hospital and Big Spring State Hospital. She was also a long time member of 11th & Birdwell Church of Christ before moving to Lubbock in 2003.
She is survived by two sons: Myrl and wife Betty Click of Paradise, Texas and Don and wife Sheila Click of Lubbock; seven grandchildren Cynthia and husband Roy Hughes of Paradise, Terry and wife Susan Click of Reno, Nevada, Bobby Click of Fort Worth, Sharon Hazzard of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lester Click of Paradise, Texas, Allyson and husband Stuart Joy of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Kelli Click of Florence, Italy; nine great grandchildren; and one sister: Nola Day of Tulsa Oklahoma.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd who passed away on September 16, 2001 and one sister Pearl Nelson. Arrangements are by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
