Elma Crossman 3/4/25 ~ 12/1/02 LEHI - Mary Elma Gray Crossman, age 77 of Lehi, died Dec. 1, 2002 at her home of congestive heart failure. She was born March 4, 1925 in Lehi, to Preston Winford and Mary Elnora Williamson Gray. She married George William Crossman, August 17, 1949 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died September 9, 2000. Elma was a retired seamstress and school lunch worker. Her favorite activities were making dolls, sewing, crocheting, and other crafts. She taught Primary for many, many years and also served in the Relief Society as a visiting teacher and activities director. She was always very generous to anyone in need. Survived by three sons, George Preston (Neola) Crossman, Las Vegas, NV; Edward Lee (Katherine) Crossman, Lehi; David Ray (Kathy) Crossman, Murray; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Glen (Phyllis) Gray and sister, Ida (Victor) Kolan, both of Lehi. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother, Winford Gray. Funeral, Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002 at 10 a.m. in the Lehi LDS Chapel at 1700 West 700 South. Friends and family may call at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the church from 9:00-9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery..
