A special to the miner from Forsyth, MT., says word was received there of the drowning of Edwin C. Philbrick this morning in the Rosebud River.
No particulars of the accident are known.
Philbrick is wealthy and one of the largest cattle owners of Eastern Montana.
He leaves a wife and child.
