Dave worked for the City of Brighton for almost 10 years before following in his father's footsteps opening his own business, Lucero Concrete which has been in business for 14 years. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family. Dave was Vice- President of the Brighton High School Football Booster Club the last 4 years and enjoyed volunteering his time. He has been a mentor to many and always there to help anyone in need.
Dave was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2007 and fought hard until he lost his battle December 1st. He died in his own bed surrounded by his loved ones.
Dave is survived by his wife Debbie and four children, Michael 23, Jeromy 18 and twin daughters Briana & Bailee 9; mother Rosita, 3 brothers Bob, Mark and Lupe; sister Julie; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Harvest Fellowship Church, 11401 E. 160th Avenue, Brighton. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Brighton.
A pot-luck reception will follow graveside services at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 11th and Bridge Street, Brighton.
