John Thomas "J.T." Farmer was riding a train on August 27, 1911. The story I was told by my family is, a train worker started checking peoples ticket stubs. When they got to J.T. Farmer, he could not find his ticket stub though he had paid to ride on the train. Some train personel then grabbed J.T. Farmer since he could not locate his ticket stub, and threw him off the moving train killing him instantly. John Thomas "J.T." Farmer was only 25 years of age.
