Simon F. Sadowski Sr., 71, of 2741 Fricke Dr., Manitowoc, died Saturday in Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
and 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno. The Rev. Julian C. Resch,
O.Praem, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Sadowski was born July 18, 1906, in Beaver Dam, son of the late Joseph and
Barbara Bagneski Sadowski. He married Hilda L. Deglow in Beaver Dam, moving to
Manitowoc to reside in 1940. He was employed with Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry
and then with Eck Foundry for 25 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of
Molder and Foundry Workers Union 301 of Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, two sons and daughters-in-law, Simon F. Jr. and
Gertrude and Richard C. and Elaine of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Edwin
(Lucille) Ledworowski of Reedsville, Wis., and Mrs. Dorothy Schkirke of Beaver
Dam, five granddaughters and five grandsons. A brother, Marcel, preceded him in
death.
Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 to 9 o'clock this Monday evening,
where a prayer service will be 8 o'clock.
