OBITUARY - ISAAC W. VANCE
 
APPEARED IN THE NEW MARKET SECTION OF THE SATURDAY,OCTOBER 7, 1899 EDITION OF “THE DISPATCH” (HILLSBORO, HIGHLAND COUNTY, OHIO).
 “Isaac Vance was buried in the Baptist cemetery last Sunday.  He was born in Fayette county, Pa., seventy years ago, and came to this county when a child, and has lived in New Market ever since.  He leaves a wife and two children, Mrs. Lamar, of Missouri, who was present the last two weeks of her brother’s [I think they mean father’s] illness, and Chas. Vance, of Montana, who was not even permitted to be present at the funeral, which was conducted by Rev. Powell, of the Baptist Church, of which the deceased was a consistent member.”
