Age 65 years. Birth date is not certain. I have tried to reckon it back from his date of death. He died November 5, 1904 at the age of 65 years, 9 months and 4 days.

According to Electa Jane Foster (Tummons), her Grandfather, Samuel Whitmarsh Foster, was married to Electa C Davis in Blissfield, Michigan around 1858. (marriage certificate says 7 Apr 1858). He then moved from Blissfield, MI down into the Ozarks ( Mountain View area (Montier, near Eminence) in Missouri) bringing a cider press, saw mill, and many railroad boxcar loads of stuff. Later he gave 40 acres to each kid. According to an official notarized document which I scanned (and saved the original), Samuel W Foster died of accidental injury of the spine on November 5, 1904 (logging accident?). Document was notarized by Ben R Westcott in the county of Shannon, state of Missouri on 25 April 1905.
