CHAS. AUMAN(sic) DIES IN WEST
Native of Manitowoc To Be Buried At Tacoma
Charles Auman, 67, a former Manitowoc resident, died in Tacoma, Washington,
Wednesday evening, according to word received here by Gustav Auman, 817 20th
street, one of the seven brothers who live in the city.
The deceased was born in Manitowoc July 5, 1866. He spent a great part of his
life here, moving to Tacoma 25 years ago. Mr. Auman married Jennie Stoker.
While in the city the deceased was employed at the Joseph Willott Manufacturing
company and later at the Reiss Coal company.
Besides his widow Mr. Auman is survived by three children, George, Harry and
Eva, all of Tacoma; seven brothers, Gustav, Frank, William, Joseph, Max, Louis,
Walter and Edwin, of Manitowoc; and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Jorsch of Rhinelander.
Funeral services and burial will take place in Tacoma. Relatives have not been
informed of arrangements as yet.
