Mrs. John W. Aulik, 79, formerly of 1232 S. 31st St. Manitowoc, who resided
with a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Larson of Francis Creek,
died Monday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc of injuries received
in a recent accident at Francis Creek.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and
10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. John Hephner
will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Aulik, nee Julia Fictum, was born Feb. 17, 1896, in the Town of Franklin,
daughter of the late Wencel and Catherine Wondrash Fictum. She was married to
John W. Aulik June 17, 1918, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch Mills. Mr. and
Mrs. Aulik celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary June 17. They owned and
operated a farm in the Town of Gibson until 1932 when they moved to Manitowoc.
Survivors include her husband, three sons, Clarence J. of Manitowoc, Woodrow J.
of Francis Creek and Russell E. of Falls Church Va.; three daughters, Mrs.
Frank (Clara) Pollen and Mrs. Bernice Van De Hey? of Manitowoc and Mrs. Thomas
(Shirley) Larson, of Francis Creek; a sister, Miss Rose Fictum of Green Bay,
17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded
her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday where a
memorial service by Daughters of Isabella will be at 7 p.m.
