Joseph F. Aulik, 91, a Manitowoc resident who resided at Shady Lane Home died Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 15, at Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Theodore J. Hendricks and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Aulik was born Nov. 30, 1891, in the Town of Gibson, Manitowoc County, son of the late Frank and Frances Hlinak Aulik. He marred Anna Kapinos August, 1918. She preceded him in death Jan. 9, 1947. He married Mayme Hill Hastreiter Nov. 22, 1951. She preceded him in death Oct. 20, 1967. Prior to his retirement in 1956, he had been employed with Medus Portland Cement Company of Manitowoc.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Raymond and June Aulik of Nyack N.Y., Robert Aulik of Marshall, Mich., and Leonard and Pat Aulik of River Vale, N.J., two stepsons, Wilbert and Herbert Hastreiter of Manitowoc County and a sister, Mrs. Carlyn Dufeck of Denmark. A brother, John and a sister, Emma preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. by Father Hendricks.
