JOHN ARNST
John Arnst, 55, of 418 N. Eighth St., Manitowoc, died at 5:25 a.m. Monday at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been removed shortly before.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Arnst was born Aug. 8, 1906, in Germany, son of the late Henry Arnst and
Mrs. Sophie Arnst Kramer. He came to the United States as a child with his
parents, who settled at Racine. He resided many years at Sheboygan and at
Manitowoc the last seven years. He had been employed the last nine years at
Eggers Plywood Co., Two Rivers.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, (private); his mother, Mrs. Sophie Kramer
of Broadview, Ill.; a brother, Gottleib of Sheboygan; two sisters, Mrs. Sophie
Eirich of Sheboygan and Mrs. Selma Lesmann of Broadview; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
