LILLIAN ARNDT

Lillian E. Arndt, 76, of 1509 New York Ave., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning in Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Private family funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Schneider and Purath Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. George Knudson will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Arndt, nee Lillian Hoverson, was born April 9, 1901 in Kewaunee County, daughter of the late Paul and Jane Kraynik Hoverson. She was married to John Arndt October 19, 1921 in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death April 18, 1971. Mrs. Arndt was a member of First Lutheran Church and Women’s Club of the church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Ruth Arndt of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Charles and Eloise Beduhn of Conroe, Texas; two brothers, Oscar Hoverson of Two Rivers and Paul Hoverson of Denmark; three sisters, Mrs. John (Pauline) Bursek of Manitowoc, Mrs. Rudy (Clary) Novak of Green Bay and Mrs. Lou (Irene) Jenz of Cedarburg; four grandchildren; a great grandson and nieces and nephews. A sister preceded her in death.
There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or First Lutheran Church.
