FORMER LOCAL RESIDENT DIES AT CHICAGO
Mrs. Orbina Anderson who left Manitowoc three years ago to reside in Chicago
died this morning at the Norwegian American hospital in Chicago. Mrs. Anderson,
who is well known in this city, has been ill for a long time and had suffered
a stroke. She was born at Cato, April 1, 1881. Her name before her marriage was
Orbina Madson.
The remains will be brought to this city and will be buried from the Wattawa,
Urbanek and Schlie Fuenral home Saturday afternoon at 1:30. Reverend G. A.
Gullixon Jr. of the German Lutheran church will officiate.
The husband of the deceased died several years ago. She is survived by one
daughter, Mrs. Ray Frampton of Chicago and by six sisters, Mrs. N. O. Nelson
of Manitowoc, Mrs. Alma Christensen of Cato, Mrs. Emma Thompson of Gilman,
Mrs. Anna Knutson of Valders, Miss Jenny Madson of Chicago, and Miss Laura
Madson of Mankato, Minn. Three brothers also survive, Melvin and Alfred of
Manitowoc and Norman of Princeton, Minn.
