Norman C. Anderson, 62, 1019 S. 15th St., Manitowoc, a pipefitter at the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon. Funeral services will be at 1:30 pm Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, the Rev. Edmund Olson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson was born Sept. 20, 1904, son of the late Christopher and Alice Knutson Anderson of Manitowoc. He married the former Gladys Thone in 1932 at Menominee, Mich. the couple resided at Manitowoc. He was a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 445, AFL-CIO.
Surviving are the wife, two sons, Norman Jr., serving with the Navy at Great Lakes Training Station, Ill., and Erwin of Sarasota, Fla., two daughters, Mrs. Alice Duveneck of Manitowoc and Mrs. Darlene Woodruff of Ft. Bragg, N.C. and 11 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 pm Tuesday.
