Mr. Louie Anderson, 70, of 1017 Manila Street, Manitowoc, died Saturday, Oct. 27, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Rev. Gerald Schrankler will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Anderson was born Dec. 23, 1913, in Frankfort, Michigan, son of the late Carl and Sara Anderson. He attended schools in Frankfort. Mr. Anderson was employed as a marine engineer with the C.N.O. Railroad until 1975. He was a World War II veteran serving in the Navy. He married Ethel E. Haberman on Dec. 6, 1941, at Manitowoc. The couple had been residing during the winter in New Port Richey, Florida.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel; a brother, Carl H. of Frankfort, Michigan; a sister, Emma Nugent of Frankfort, Michigan, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Monday evening and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to the time of services.
