GEORGINA ALECKSEN

Mrs. Georgina Alecksen, 62, widow of Lars Alecksen, died at the home, 846 North
12th street at 10 p.m. Sunday after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at two o’clock from the First
Lutheran church with the Rev. Ernest Zoerb officiating. Interment will be in
Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Alecksen, nee Georgina Rudie, was born Sept. 2, 1879 at the Rudie homested
about three miles north of Manitowoc. She was married in 1900.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Henry Rake, Sheboybgan, Mrs. Sylvester Yoeman,
Two Rivers, and Mrs. Eugene Stewart, Milwaukee; four sons, Talmadge, Sylvester
and Vernon of Manitowoc and Lawrence of Milwaukee; four brothers, Halsten Rudie
of Gillette, Wis.; Knud in Minnesota, John and Oscar of Manitowoc; one sister,
Mrs. Hanna Kirkevold, city; and four grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at the Frazier mortuary from seven o’clock tonight
until 10 a.m. Wednesday when it will be removed to the church to lie in state
there until time of the funeral.
