Sadie Henson, 94, of North Little Rock, went to her heavenly reward on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 1, 1920 to her parents Joseph Henson and Lela Webb Henson in Lonoke County, Ark. Before retiring she worked for many years at Phillips Lighting Company.
Sadie had a kind and generous spirit and throughout her life she helped countless people in need. She was an avid gardener and reader, but her true passion in life was writing poetry and fiction. Above all she was a Christian of unwavering faith.
Sadie was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings, her grandson Charles Lee Cauley, and her son Harvey Cauley.
She is survived by her children Lloyd Cauley, Carolyn Cauley Garcia (Richard), and Peggy Cauley Reynolds (Joe), siblings Paul Henson, Bobby Henson, Letha Hanley, Edith Hatfield, and special cousin Doyle Henson (Nancy), 12 grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, June 5th and funeral services will be held Saturday, June 6th at 11:00 am, both at the North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., NLR, AR 72114.
