"Joseph Bledsoe, son of Willard and Susan Bledsoe, was born in Holt County, Mo., on Dec. 10, 1870, and departed this life at his home in Wymore, Neb., March 18, 1933, at the age of 63 years, 3 months, and 8 days. He was married to Miss Alice Bush, Dec., 1900. To this union two children were born; Louie Bledsoe, Union Star, Mo., and Grace Clarstrom, Sioux City, Ia.

He has spent most of his life in Holt County, except the last 12 years, having lived in Wymore, Nebr. He leaves to survive his passing, two children, Grace and Louis, one granddaughter, Betty Lee Bledsoe; five brothers, Sam, Phillysburg, Kans., Charley, Ed, Henry and Will, all of Forest City; four sisters, Mrs. Vera Simmons, of White Cloud, Kans., Mrs. Lon Elder, Mound City, Mrs. Lum Richey and Mrs. Louise Snider, Forest City.

Funeral service was held at the Forest City Christian Church Monday at two o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Albert Martin. Burial was in Forest City Cemetery."
