Oscar Raymond Bucher of Waco died Nov 3, 1995. He was 87. Graveside services will be held at Rosemound Cemetery with Chaplain J.W. Riemenschmeider officiating.

Mr. Bucher was born March 24, 1908 to John N. and Madora Bucher in Hillsboro.

Oscar graduated from Hillsboro High School.

He married Leota Wooten in 1938, and she died in Nov. 1979.

Mr. Bucher was in the U.S. Army Air Corp in WWII. He retired after 35 years as a civil aircraft inspector.

He was a member of TASCA, American Legion Post 121, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include: a son, Jerry Wayne Bucher of San Antonio, a sister, Violet Bucher of Carlsbad N.M., two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
