Miss Mary W. Sloan
FROSTBURG – Miss Mary W. Sloan, of 285 East Main Street, died today at Sacred Heart Hospital following a lingering illness.
Miss Sloan was a daughter of the late James and Mary Jane (Carroll) Sloan.
Before her retirement several years ago, Miss Sloan was employed in the alteration department of Rosenbaum's store, Cumberland. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.
Survivors include two half-brothers, James J. Sloan, Frostburg, and Charles M. Sloan, Mt. Ramler, Md. and a number of nieces and nephews.
The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home here, where the family will receive friends tomorrow and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
