A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. L. G. Taylor, pastor of the Baptist Church in Clinton, officiating.
He was born in Waynesville April 11, 1877, the son of Dr. James C. and Narcissus Scott. He had spent most of his life in Waynesville. He was never married.
Surviving are three brothers, Albert, in Arkansas; Charles and Ellis, both in Bloomington.
