Sulser Funeral Service Is Held

Midland - A requiem mass for Harry H Sulser, 60, who died Saturday night at Miners' Hospital was celebrated at 9:30 a.m. yesterday in St Joseph's Catholic church by Rev Francis Flanagan, a nephew. Rev. John J. Reilly was deacon and Rev. William McVeigh was subdeacon. Interment was in St Michael's Cemetery, Frostburg. Mr Sulser had been in failing health for the past year. Mr Sulser was born at Elk Garden, W Va, a son of the late David and Naomi Bever(sic) Sulser. He worked for 30 years as a miner until his retirement two years ago. He served in World War I and was a member of American Legion Post No. 169. Midland, and St. Joseph s Catholic Church. He was a Democratic election clerk in District 18 for many years. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Theresa Reilly Sulser; a daughter, Mary Naomi, at home, and four sisters, Mrs. Nettie Corrigan, Midland, Mrs. Mattie Thrasher, Detroit; Mrs Myrtle Dyling, Akron,and Mrs Lulu Kelley Luke. Full military honors were accorded at the grave and pallbearers were members of the American Legion Post.
