Liza Deal Brim, 91, of Martinsville, and formerly of Old Stage Road, Bassett, died Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2005, at the Blue Ridge Rehab Center.
She was born on May 2, 1914, in Patrick County, to Joshua Deal and Mary Foley Deal. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Brim, who died in 1970; two brothers, James W. Deal and Kiley Deal; and three sisters, Mary Lou Hopkins, Emma Cates and Edith Deal.
She retired from Sale Knitting Company, where she worked for more than 24 years, and she was a member of the Collinsville Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Collins Funeral Services chapel in Bassett with Pastor Joe M. Beck officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Burial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
