OBITUARY FOR L. FRANK AARON
L. Frank Aaron. Funeral services for L. Frank Aaron, 51, whose death occurred at 3:45 yesterday morning at his home at 703 Somerset Street will be conducted at 3:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the John Henderson Company Funeral Home, Main Street. Rev. C. W. Winey, pastor of First United Brethren Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the family plot in Grandview Cemetery. Mr. Aaron had been suffering from a heart ailment for several years. He suffered a slight stroke last Tuesday and became unconscious. He remained in that condition until he passed away. Born in Johnstown, Mr. Aaron was a son of Herman S. and Mary (Manges) Aaron. He was graduated from Johnstown High School with the class of 1906 and from the University of Pennsylvania in 1911. He had been employed as a production engineer for the Bethlehem Steel Company for a number of years and for several years was associated with the Colorado Fuel & Iron Company, Pueblo, Colo. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Stella F. (Hammer) Aaron; a son Joseph Frank Aaron, and a daughter Miss Mary Elizabeth Aaron, both at home. A brother Herman S. Aaron also survives. L. Frank Aaron was a member of the Masonic order. He also was affiliated with the Knights of Pythias and Loyal Order of Moose. He was a lifelong member of First United Brethren Church. Found in scrapbook of his sister-in-law Ella (Hammer) Krise; also published in the Johnstown Tribune Democrat newspaper, handwritten date of 31 May 1940.
