Roger D. Carson Jr., 37 of Shippee Plat Rd, Coventry, an area zone manager for Hartz Mountain Corp, NJ for more than 10 years died Friday at Kent County Memorial Hospital after being stricken at home. He was the husband of the late Debra C. (Northup) Carson.
Born in Providence, a son of Roger D. and Edith M.(Greenfield) Carson of Coventry. He lived in Coventry most of his life.
Mr. Carson was previously was Assistant Service Manager for Webber Chevrolet of West Warwick, and Scuncio Chevrolet of Smithfield. He was the President of the Johnson's Pond Civic Association, and its former social committee chairman. He attended the Communtity College of Rhode Island.
Besides his parents, he leaves two sons, Drew J., and Kyle C. Carson both at home, and a sister, Candace Henderson of Coventry.
His funeral was held on Tuesday at the Iannotti Funeral Home Coventry. Burial followed in Knotty Oak Cemetery.
