Carl Ernest Binschus, Bellingham resident for 42 years, passed away in a local hospital Monday, following a short illness. He was 64.
Mr. Binschus, who resided at 2014 Cowgill avenue, was a World War I veteran. He was a member of the American Legion and the Warehousemen's union.
Surviving relatives include two sisters, Mrs. Anna Rushworth, Bellingham, and Mrs. Marie Leslie, Seattle; four brothers, Otto, of Marblemount, Wash., Louis, of Baker, Ore., and Herman and Frank, both of Portland, Ore., as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 10:30 a. m. Thursday in the Cathedral chapel of Westford-Beck funeral home, with the Rev. James M. Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Bay View.
