She was born October 23, 1916, in Rockford, Illinois, to Algot and Josephine Swanson Lindeman, who preceded her in death. On January 21, 1939, she married R. Stanley Tam, who survives.
Mrs. Tam had been a pay clerk at United States Plastic Corp., for 45 years. She had also read stories on WTGN's radio program "Adventures from the Bookshelf." She had been a member of Cable Road Alliance Church and Bluelick Bible Church. She had traveled extensively with her husband to more than 35 countries. She enjoyed china painting and singing.
Survivors also include four daughters, Rachel (Glen) Day, of Westerville, Rebecca (Wesley) Lytle, of Celina, Prudence (Dr. Darrell) Long, of Lima and Candace (Paul) Von Tobel, of Valparaiso, Indiana; 10 grandchildren, Bryan (Heather) Williams, Heather Williams, Jennifer (Christopher) McNiven, Kristen (Darrell) Kincer, Stuart Long, Sarah (Mike) Fennell, Stanley (Kristen) Long, Michele (Lisandro) Montenegro, Paul J. (Jenni) Von Tobel and Peter Von Tobel, and three great-grandchildren, Aubry, Jack, and Eli Williams.
She was preceded in death by a brother Stuart Lindeman; and two sisters, Pauline Lindeman and Bernadine Anderson.
Services will begin at 11 am, Friday at Bluelick Bible Church, Pastor Jim Neighbors will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
