Rebecca W. (Sauder) Seibel, 83, of Manheim, exchanged time for eternity with family gathered by her bedside on Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Fairmount Homes, Ephrata. Although being challenged with Alzheimer's for the last 12 years, it was a great joy interacting with our mother.

She was born in Churchtown to the late Christian and Rebecca (Weaver) Sauder and was the wife of the late Norman H. Seibel, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage before his passing in 2009.

Rebecca was a member of Clearview Mennonite Church, Weaverland Conference.

Rebecca is survived by 9 children, Dorothy Elaine, wife of Raymond H. Good of Lititz, Carolyn S., wife of Amos S. Hurst of Lititz, Vernon S., husband of Arlene M. (Martin) Seibel of Danville, Joanne S., wife of Amos Z. Musser of McVeytown, Linda S., wife of Dennis L. Nolt of Ephrata, Brenda S., wife of Joseph M. Zimmerman of Manheim, Rhoda S., wife of Leon W. Horning of Worthington, MA, Barbara S., wife of Eli Clair Zimmerman of Fleetwood, Gerald S., husband of Christina Joy (Hurst) Seibel of Manheim; 42 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Christ, husband of Anna Mary (Sensenig) Sauder of Akron, Earl, husband of Arlene (Martin) Sauder of East Earl; 7 sisters, Edna, wife of the late Elias Gingrich of Myerstown, Anna, wife of David Nolt of Ephrata, Laura, wife of Melvin Weaver of Ephrata, Dorothy, wife of Irwin Martin of Denver, Arlene, wife of Edward Weaver of New Holland, Minerva, wife of Jessie Lehman of Lebanon, and Verna Pruchnewniska of Berwick.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother in law, Esther W. and H. Ivan Sensenig.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 22, from 4 to 8 pm, at the Midway Reception Center, 210 E. Lexington Rd., Lititz. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 9:30 am, at the Clearview Mennonite Church, Manheim,
with Bishops Lester Martin, Melvin Martin, and Leon Horning officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery Kindly omit flowers.
