Mr. William E. "Bill" Miller, 56, of Brandenburg, died September 3, 1998 in Brandenburg. He was born November 23, 1941 in Meade County, the son of the late William L. "Jack" Miller and Thelma Rose Powell Miller.
Mr. Miller was a retired painter, a past Master of the Harrison Masonic Lodge #122 F & AM, former governor of the Brandenburg Moose Lodge #1177 and their current administrator, a member of First Baptist Church and an avid golfer.
Masonic service and Moose Lodge services were held Saturday evening from the Chapel of Jenkins Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Carolyn M. Miller; one daughter, Melissa Meeks Miller of Brandenburg; a sister, Donna Kay Fraley, to whom he loved as a daughter; a sister, Rose Marie Miller, both of Brandenburg; two brothers, Kenneth Andrew Miller of Battletown, and Jackie Lee Miller of Brandenburg; and two granddaughters.
Funeral services were held from First Baptist Church with Rev. Gary McAbee and Dr. Billy D. Marcum officiating. Interment at Cap Anderson Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Moose Lodge Legionnaires, honorary pallbearers were members of Harrison Masonic Lodge #122 F&AM.
