Bill passed away Sunday, August 29, 2004.He was born July 6, 1925, in Salt Lake City, to Joseph Logan Green and Florence Mailan Green. He married Colleen Allen on July 7, 1962. Bill graduated from South High School. He served in World War II in the Navy. He served on the first "frogman" underwater demolition unit. Bill played professional baseball with the Salt Lake Bees. He loved sports and spent many hours on the golf course. He was an accomplished golfer. Bill had an inventive mind. He patented and marketed several products. He had a zest for life and was always involved in some project. His most enjoyable years were spent playing golf at Jeremy Ranch. He is survived by wife, Colleen, brother, Don Green (Sherrie), children, Marsha Brown (Bob), Kelly Green, William L. Green (JoAnn), Doris Hicken Rogers, Vickie Grimard (J.B.), Pam Parker (Kent), Jeff Green (Laura), Kathy Jensen (Russ), Steven Allen (Melanie), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We love you. "Make a lot of birdies." It was Bill's wish to be cremated. Friend's may greet the family on Thursday, September 2, 2004 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary at 3401 Highland Drive. There will be a private celebration of Bill's life at a later time.
