Funeral services were held for Edna Jo Davis, 80, of Lucedale, on June 28, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Lucedale First United Methodist Church with Rev. Don Russell and Rev. William Culp conducting the services.
Interment followed in Magnolia Cemetery.
A native of Lucedale, she was a retired social worker employed by Singing River Education Association. She was a member of the Elma Bristow Sunday School Class and the Esther Kirkwood Circle at the First United Methodist Church of Lucedale. She was also a member of the Lucedale Garden Club, Lucedale Woman's Club, Fine Arts Club and the Business Girls Club of Lucedale. She died June 26, 2009.
She is survived by her husband, James L. Davis of Lucedale; daughter, Toni Holland Howell of Mobile, Ala.; two grandsons, Joshua Douglas Howell of Theodore, Ala. And Justin (Amber) Howell of Lucedale; great grandson, Cade Howell of Lucedale; great granddaughter, Camdyn Howell of Lucedale; sister, Suzanne (Zelton) Eubanks of Lucedale; mother-in-law, Ida Davis of Lucedale and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel T. Bristow and Elma Mae Hammond Bristow.
