A memorial service for A. W. " Sonny" Wiggins, 80, Murchison is scheduled for 2:00 P M Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Murchison.
Mr. Wiggins died Monday, July 16, 2012 in Tyler.
He was born September 23, 1931 in Winnsboro, Louisiana to Curtis and Clara Stapp Wiggins.
He spent most of his professional life living in Texas working for IBM. Sonny enjoyed passing time on the family farm in Murchison. He was a strong supporter of the University of Houston football program and rarely missed a home game.
He was preceded in death by his son Alan, sister Mignonne and brother Earl.
Sonny is survived by his loving wife Mary Katherine, daughter Ashleigh Arlene(Jay), son Craig, siblings Larry Curtis Wiggins, Carl Bryan Wiggins, grandchildren Sarah (Eric), Matthew(Hayley), Melody(Mauricio), Victoria, Hayden, Jeremy and Savannah, great grandchildren Leah and Madalyn.
