Just as we go to press, we are pained to receive the sad intelligence of the death of John Stephen Jackson, an old and highly respected citizen of the county. We have not the particulars of his death further than that he died in the afternoon of yesterday, after a short illness.
He was a native of Greene county, and a man whom everyone loved and respected. - Greenesboro Herald.
