Ciro Antonucci, 80, of North Belle Vernon, died Thursday, July 22, 2004, in UPMC-Mercy, Pittsburgh.
A son of the late Cosimo and Divina Santoro Antonucci, he was born in Italy on March 3, 1924.
He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, American Legion Post 659, both of Belle Vernon, and a life member of Charleroi VFW Post 167.
A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Antonucci had resided in Belle Vernon for over 58 years and retired in the mid-80's from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemarie Cefala Antonucci on Jan. 1, 1982; one granddaughter, Tama Michele Smith; and two sisters, Doris Allen and Maria Blassio.
