Some records show that Isabel is buried at 'Old Gibson Cemetery' unknown town in NC; The cemetery referred herein as Old Gibson Cemetery, on property once owned by J. M. West is also called McQuiston Cemetery as identified in Family Burying Grounds and Abandoned Church Cemeteries in Guilford County, N.C. and Immediate Environs, compiled by O. Norris and Rebecca H. Smith, published by Guilford County Genealogical Society, 1994. The cemetery is being restored and a monument to the McQuiston family has been erected. At one time, it was observed there were over 225 headstones standing in the cemetery.
