Jimmy Jacobs, 65, of Center, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Shelby Regional Medical Center in Center. He was born October 16, 1946 to H.B. Jacobs and Gladdy Sherrod Jacobs. Mr. Jacobs was the owner and operator of Jacob's Welding Shop. He was a member of Sam Samford Masonic Lodge #149.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Watson & Sons Chapel. A Masonic graveside service will follow at Union Cemetery in Tenaha.
Pallbearers will be Danny Porterfield, Gene Dugas, Scott Jacobs, Justin Richerson, Tony Willoughby, Newton Johnson, Johnny Stanley and Jeff McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Sam Samford Masonic Lodge #149, David Garza and Ray Stroope.
