Jacob attended the Norwich Free Academy and Westover Job Corps Center in Chicopee, MA. He joined the United States Army in Feb. 2000. He is survived by his mother Lydia Gutierrez of Miami, FL., his siblings, Yesenia Rosas, Jasmin Antonetty of Miami, FL., Olgita Martir of Norwich, Elizabeth Martir of Hartford and Ismael Martir of Ft. Worth, TX.; his grandparents, Benci Lydia and Juan Gutierrez of Willimantic, CT; his great-grandmother Santa Lozada of Miami, FL.; his aunts, Paulina, Alba, Gladys, Doris and Leonor Gutierrez; his uncles, Hector Gutierrez and Juan A. Gutierrez Jr.; his nieces, Brittany Staples and Alicia Riley; and several cousins. Burial with full Military Honors.
