Mrs. Madsen grew to womanhood in her childhood community, later coming to Nebraska, where she made her home the remainder of her life.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Rasmus Madsen; two children, Claude Sweeny of Aurora, and Mrs. Guy Carne of Doniphan; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Alice Briggs of Denver, Col.; and two brothers, Fred Whited of Lamar, Col., and Jim Whited of the state of Washington.
Funeral services were held from the Kritner funeral home in Fairmont Wednesday, May 31. Rev. Maude V. Mann of Geneva officiated. Interment was in the Geneva Cemetery.
