Marie Anderson Taken by Death
Mrs. Marie Anderson died in Carson City Tuesday night after a lengthy illness. She was 82 years of age. Mrs. Anderson was a native of Germany and came to the United States at the age of 18. She had made her home in western Nevada since. She was the widow of the late Soren Anderson, who she married in 1889. They moved to Carson City and had resided there since. She was a member of the Neighbors of Woodcraft. Survivors include four sons, William C., Arthur S., Ellwood N., all of Carson City and Clarence A. Anderson of Reno; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. from the LaGrange Mortuary chapel, the Rev. Mr. Stewart officiating. The family has request that flowers be omitted. Pallbearers, all grandsons will be Jasper, Morris, Walter and Robert Adams and Alhe Ambrozerri and Melvin Hendershot. Interment will be in Lone Mountain Cemetery.
