TULLY-Freeman B Tully, of 20 Long Island View Rd, Milford, Conn, formerly of Portsmouth died Jan 6. Funeral services at Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad St, Mon 1:30 p.m. Arrangements by J Verne Wood Funeral Home.
Obituary:
Freeman B Tully - Milford, Conn - Freeman B Tully, 88, a former Portsmouth barber, died Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs Charles Arkell of 20 Long Island View Road, with whom he had made his home.
A native of Nova Scotia, he was born Jan 14, 1872, the son of the late Peter and Annie Tully.
For man years Mr Tully operated a barber shop on Vaughan St, and also manufactured violins. He was a member of the Middle Street Baptist Church.
Survivors also include a son, Karlton E Tully of Portsmouth; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Freeman B Tully, 88 of Milford, Conn, a former Portsmouth barber who died in Milford last Friday, were held at Buckminster Chapel yesterday.
The Rev Gordon A Gilbert of the Middle Street Baptist Church conducted services at the chapel and the committal at the grave in the family lot in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Eliot.
Included in the attendance were members of the Portsmouth Barbers Association and members of the church.
Bearers were Roy W Walsh, Walter L Hartwell, Leigh Bunnell and Forrest E Hodgdon.
