NEW WASHINGTON: John M. Hopple, age 46, resident of New Washington, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at his residence.

He was born on February 21, 1966 in Bucyrus, Ohio. John was a 1985 graduate of Buckeye Central High School. He was employed at Advanced Auto Distribution Center in Delaware, Ohio. He was a sports fanatic for all sports.

He is survived by his parents, Larry and Sharon (Patterson) Hopple, of New Washington; two brothers, Joe (Tricia) Hopple of Caledonia, Ohio and Jamie Hopple of New Washington; two nieces and one nephew, Makayla, Briana and Evan Hopple; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; two cats, Pumkin and Spooky; and one dog, Duke.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Friends may call on Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Secor Funeral Home in New Washington. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the New Washington United Methodist Church with Rev. Scott Blevins officiating. Burial will follow at St. Jacobs Cemetery in Republic, Ohio.
