Marie Ann Rathbun Brown Richardson Hazel ,59, of Marshall, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at her home . Marie was born on October 30, 1952, in Albion to the late Jack Irving and Betty Miller Rathbun. She earned her GED and graduated from cosmetology school.
She married Max Brown Jr., on July 28, 1968, he preceded her in 1979. On December 27, 1992 , she married her current husband in Marshall. For many years,Marie was cosmetologist and a hair stylist.
She owned and operated Cameo Salon in Battle Creek.
Marie also taught at Wright Beauty Academy in Battle Creek for five years.
Marie also worked at the Interstate Gas Station at 11 Mile Road in Battle Creek, Bob Evans Farm Restaurant,and the Hill Crest Restaurant.Marie enjoyed working in her flower garden, caring for fish in her pond and her fresh water aquarium. Marie also enjoyed collecting old fashioned dolls, Shirley Temple dolls. Marie loved Christmas and would make it very special decorating, meals, and making all kinds of treats to share with her friends and family. He
