Alfred Leroy Harris Sr., 66, of Waco died Dec 22, 1967 in Houston. Graveside services will be at Rosemound Cemetery with Rev. Robert Young officiating.

He was born in Erick, OK. on Oct. 14, 1901 to Frank Marion and Arkie Loretta (Elms) Harris.

He was a paint contractor.

Survivors include: three sons, Marcus B. Harris of Waco, Alfred Leroy Harris Jr of Crawford, and James Marlon Harris of Indianapolis IN.; seven sisters, Mrs. Ruth Campbell of Waco, Mrs. Jessie Golding of Giddings, Mrs. Bessie Birmingham of Waco, Mrs. Marie Lawson of Austin, Mrs. Fay Honnell of Houston, Mrs. Mabel Kyle of Houston, Mrs. Virginia Parker of Midlothian; three brothers, Riley Harris of San Clements CA., Sam Harris of El Toro CA., and Claude Harris of Houston; his father, F. M. Harris of Waco; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
