White Services

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Seydler-Hill Funeral Chapel for Fred White who died at the Crews Hospital Sunday at 2:30p.m. His death was unexpected.
The Rev. Claude F. O'Neall retired Baptist minister, and the Rev. H. A. Lee, pastor of the First Baptist church, will conduct the service with burial to take place in the Gonzales Memorial Park.
Mr. White was born in Gonzales on March 13, 1907, the son of Wallace and Susie Alma Carpenter White, natives respectively of England and Gonzales county.
A trucker p, he was married to Miss Thelma Ray on October 19, 1935, and the family lived at 1407 Water Street.
Survivors include his widow of Gonzales; one daughter, Mrs. James (Gloria Ann) Knandel of Cost; two granddaughters, Elizabeth and Carol Knandel, also of Cost; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Lutenbacher of Goliad; Miss Rebecca White of San Antonio; two brothers, Bill White, Gonzales and Arnold White of Nixon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, one sister and a granddaughter.
