GRATZ - Walter W. Welker, 69, of 34 S. Second St., died Sunday at home.
He was a retired helicopter mechanic at the New Cumberland Army Depot. He was a member of Simeon United Lutheran Church and Gratz Area Ambulance Association.
Surviving are his wife, Pauline Wiest Welker; two sons, Larry of Gratz and Jerry of Spring Glen; two brothers, Paul and Lee, both of Lykens; two sisters, Elsie Brown of Gratz and Betty Welker of New York; and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at his church. Burial will be in Gratz Union Cemetery.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, is handling arrangements.
