Dean R. Bolling, age 60, of the town of Pine River, Lincoln County, died Monday, July 16, 2012, at Ministry St. Clare's Hospital, Weston.

Dean was born June 12, 1952, in Eau Claire, son of the late Leonard and Betty (Aldrich) Bolling. He married Rose Julson on September 30, 1972, in Whitehall, Wisconsin. She survives. Dean and Rose had dairy farmed in the town of Schley, Lincoln County. After selling the farm, Dean drove truck for Roehl Transportation, and most recently for Burgener Contract Carriers of Merrill. Dean enjoyed deer hunting, woodworking, working with anything mechanical, and motorcycling. Dean built both homes that he and his family lived in Lincoln County. His family will also remember his wonderful sense of humor.

Survivors include his wife, Rose Bolling, Merrill; one daughter, Jennifer (Eric) Pehlke, Merrill; two sons, Kevin Bolling (with Robin Ostman), and Paul (Ashley)Bolling, both of Merrill; eight grandchildren, Dillon, Noah, Melony, Morgan, Devin, Aiden, Caitlynn, and Jentzen; five sisters, Mary (Scott) Bjorgo, Barb (Dan) Adams, Gloria (Tom) Wagner, Karen (Kent) Nelson, all of Strum, Wisconsin, and Sharon Bolling of Denver, Colorado; and one brother, Mike (Betty) Bolling, Farmington, Minn.
