Debbie Sue "Angie" Phillips, 46, of Palatka, died Monday, September 20, 2004 at Putnam Community Medical Center following a brief illness.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Palatka. She was a 1976 graduate of Palatka Central High School. She was employed by John's Pit Stop in Green Cove Springs. She was a member of Bostwick Baptist Church. She loved doting on her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed photography, flower gardening and helping people.
She was preceded in death by her father, Simeon Phillips.
Surviving are her mother, Doris Phillips English of Palatka; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Debbie Greene of Bostwick, and John and Donna Phillips of St. George, Ga.; her fiancé, Steve Hinkle of Palatka and seven nieces and nephews, Shara Cadle, Traci Farmer, Kaylee Greene, Courtney Greene, Jameon Phillips, Stormy Phillips and Hardy-Man Phillips.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept.22 at Bostwick Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Weeks officiating. A video tribute will be shown. Interment will follow in Bostwick Cemetery.
